What is Aqualuer?
Aqualuer is an all-new formulation that combines the time-tested active ingredient Permethrin and synergist Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO) in a stable and unique water-dilutable system.  Using technological advancements, we have created Aqualuer, a formulation that makes a special micro-emulsion when mixed with water, without the problems associated with other water-dilutable products.

How is Aqualuer Different?
The difference is clear at a glance.  Aqualuer is transparent, not milky or cloudy and it has a distinctive orange color.  Unlike other water-dilutable adulticides, Aqualuer does not readily layer after mixing and doesn't need to be warmed before use following storage in cool conditions.  Also, Aqualuer has a very pleasant and natural orange fragrance because it uses naturally derived orange oil instead of a petroleum-based solvent.  Aqualuer tolerates a wide variety of storage and use conditions, from cold to hot, dry to humid.  Most mosquito adulticides are diluted with spray oils because the active ingredients are not water-soluble. Aqualuer allows for superior mixing in water, or you may use a suitable spray oil.

What are the Advantages of Diluting with Water?
Simply put, water is better for the environment than spray oils.  Unlike spray oils, ordinary tap water is inexpensive and readily available, significantly lowering your cost per application.  No special tanks or drums are required to store potentially hazardous petroleum products.  Plus, when Aqualuer is mixed with water, clean-up is a snap, simply rinse equipment with water.

Are There Other Applications?
Aqualuer isn't just for mosquito control.  Aqualuer also controls midges (biting and non-biting), blackflies, gnats, houseflies, horse flies, deer flies, sheep flies, horn and heel flies and other nuisance flying insects.  Aqualuer may also be used as a barrier spray at rates up to 0.1 lb a.i./acre for application around parks, buildings, golf courses, campsites and other areas where mosquitoes congregate.
