“The Jefferson County Mosquito Control District performed an aerial field trial using Aqualuer 20-20 during April of 2006.  Dr. Thomas Janousek of Pest Consulting Services was in charge of the field trial protocol and test procedure. Aqualuer 20-20 was applied to caged Culex salinarius mosquitoes from an altitude of 200 feet, using our Twin Beech Bonanza, at a rate of 0.0034 pounds of active ingredient per acre.  100% mortality was observed at 2 hours post-application.  Mortality in the untreated control mosquitoes was 1.3%. We were very pleased with the results that we obtained during this field trial, and we have been using Aqualuer 20- 20 exclusively in our twin-engine aircraft as our pesticide of choice over the urban areas of Jefferson County ever since.”
